Pots ~ Start your cultivation in the right plant pot
Start your cultivation in the right pots
Dozens of different pots are available on today's market. We do not sell all of these but we sell a whole bunch. These pots all have different sizes and also many different substances. Since there are many fakes in circulation, it is highly advisable to always make sure to inquire what quality the pots are. An accident is in a small corner, as many plastics contain plasticizers. At high temperatures, these want to detach from the pot and they will start to fume. No plant will remain standing when these fumes come off your pots and this is also harmful to humans and animals. To give you some idea of our range of pots, here is a small overview of what we carry.
- Pots round
- Square pots
- Fabric pots
- Airpots
Plastic pots
The round pots and square pots are available in different capacities. This varies between 0.25L to 25L. All our pots are guaranteed plasticizer free.
Fabric pots
Fabric pots are available from 1L to 75L from several different brands. We carry in our assortment those from Gronest, Rootmax and the Garden Highpro Propots. Caution. These pots hold a lot of moisture! On the other hand, the substance ensures a good airy root system. Storage is also easy because they can be folded together.
Airpots
Then there are the airpots. These are mainly used in outdoor cultivation. Because there are holes everywhere in the pots they provide an airy root system and because the pots can be taken apart they are also easy to store in the shed or pantry. Because these pots are so airy, there is also a high probability of harvest enlargement. Once the root reaches a hole where it cannot go any further, it will start to branch out. This ensures that extreme root formation can take place in an air pot. But the holes can also be a disadvantage. Drying out of the pot will also be faster because of this. Especially if it is in the sun.
What kind of plant pot will you go for?
Often the choice of pots depends on what kind of space you are growing in. If you want to go for results per plant and that they develop well, then larger pots are used more quickly. The larger the root system the more fruit will develop on the plant. This is often done with round pots. Do you have a smaller space and do want to fill it up completely. Square pots are often used for this. These are often more efficient per square meter.
