420 LEDs with the Hortione 420
The Hortione 420 is an LED grow light that consists of no less than 420 LEDs and is suitable for both the growth and flowering of your crop. This LED grow light contains 12x Osram Oslon Hyper Red and 408x Seoul Semiconductor LEDs which achieve a color temperature of 3800K. This color combination makes the lamp suitable for use during both the growth and flowering phase of the plant. Besides the fact that the lamp is multi-applicable, thanks to the high efficiency of the LEDs (2.9 µmol/J) impressive light values are measured. The large amount of light and the spectrum make the Hortione 420 especially suitable for growing flowering, fruit-bearing plants.
The Hortione 420 was tested in a Bonanza 0.35m2 with a cultivation area of 60 x 60 cm. The measurement was taken at a height of 25 cm above the sensor, see below for the test results. As can be seen from the diagram the large number of LEDs in combination with the relatively large surface of the reflector provide a nice even light spread across the grow surface. The large amount of light and the spectrum makes the Hortione 420 especially suitable for growing flowering, fruit-bearing plants.
