Geni Flower Fertilizers is not just any brand; it is the life's work of Iwan Hendriks, a veteran in the horticultural industry. Founded in 2009, the company finds its roots in the rich experience of Iwan, who, after more than 25 years in the industry and managing several garden centers, decided to turn his knowledge into a specialized product offering.

Early years

Iwan's journey began in 1994 when he opened his first garden store in Amsterdam. The success of this one store led to the establishment of multiple garden centers, which allowed Iwan to interact directly with customers and better understand their needs. This interaction led to the development of Flower Booster, a unique plant food sold exclusively in his own stores.

Collaboration and innovation

In 2002, a critical collaboration emerged. Iwan joined forces with a colleague who ran a rose nursery. Together they perfected the Flower Booster and introduced the Top Shooter, an improved version of the original product. Because of practical considerations, a powder form called Shooting Powder was also developed.

These products now form the core of Geni Flower Fertilizers' offering. With the same effectiveness but under a new name, these plant nutrition supplements continue to help gardeners and growers get the most out of their plants. The formulas are carefully tuned, with specific P-K ratios resulting from years of research and experience.
