Air Filter ~ Purify your air
Purify your air with an air filter
Do you want to buy an air filter? We have several types of air filters available in our webshop. With a carbon filter you can filter out all unpleasant odors and with a blow-in filter you can keep insects, dust or dirt out of your grow room.
Blow-in filter
A blow-in filter is an air filter that purifies the air before it enters your grow room, we sell these in two variants, namely a cone filter and a blow-in filter. A cone filter is made of fabric and as the name suggests it comes in the shape of a cone, with such an air filter you prevent dust, dirt or insects in your air ducts. These are mainly used for the blow-in but can also be used for the blow-out.
The blow-in filters keep pests, dust and polluted air out of your grow room, thus protecting your crop from these negative influences. The air filters are made of galvanized steel and are easy to mount between your tubes or hoses, also the filter cloth is removable so you can clean it after saturation, this can be done with the vacuum cleaner or simply wash it with water.
Carbon filter
A carbon filter is an air filter equipped with active carbon, this type of active carbon consists of small particles of carbon, the smaller the carbon the more carbon surface is created in such an air filter and the more nasty odors can be purified from the air.
This all has to do with the pores of the carbon, these pores filter the airflow so that the nasty odors are absorbed by the carbon. These pores can also become clogged or saturated, once this occurs your air filter will have no effect and the carbon will need to be replaced.
Such a carbon air filter has a filter cloth around it as additional filtration, this filter cloth filters coarse particles such as dust or unwanted elements from the air. This way, pollution does not reach the carbon, this will extend the life of your air filter. Be careful with humidifiers though, excessive humidity will cause the carbon to clog up.
